US Pipelining, LLC Completes U.S Military Infrastructure Cured-In-Place-Pipe (CIPP) Pipe Lining Project

Lakehurst Naval Air Station Receive Benefits From Trenchless CIPP Rehabilitation

Philadelphia, PA – US Pipelining, LLC., an emerging leader in Cured-In-Place-Pipelining solutions (CIPP), announced today the completion of a year-long military project which included the cured-in-place-pipe rehabilitation of the Lakehurst Naval Air Station sanitary sewer system. Part of the military’s Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst (JB MDL), the Lakehurst Naval Air Station in New Jersey was the site of the 1937 LZ 129 Hindenburg airship disaster and currently houses the Hindenburg Airship Museum.

Requiring more than a year of planning, sourcing, and logistics, the Lakehurst project involved the rehabilitation of sanitary lift stations, manholes, and more than five-thousand feet of cured-in-place-pipe. “US Pipelining has completed numerous projects for the various branches of the US Military and the Army Corp of Engineers,” states Jeremy Bowman, President, U.S Pipelining. “We understand the nuances involved with on-base military projects and the Lakehurst project, although extensive and inclusive of aging infrastructure, presented few challenges beyond what we manage on a day-to-day basis”, said Bowman.

A leader in CIPP technologies for industrial, commercial and municipal applications, US Pipelining’s military and government portfolio includes projects for The Smithsonian, Fort Knox, NASA, McGuire AFB, Lakehurst Naval Air Station, Fort Lesley McNair, National Park Services, and Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
